On Open House Days, we will open our classrooms to families looking at grades PK through grade 12. Open House events are intended for two groups of families:

First, those who are still exploring options and trying to find the ideal learning environment for their child. We will let you talk one on one with current SMS parents, meet our teachers and students, observe learning in the classrooms, and have all your questions addressed. If you like what you see, we can discuss a visiting day for your child, or next steps for enrollment.

Second, If your child is already enrolled for next fall, this event is also for you! We will be hosting a coffee social hour for families and tours of the building. This is a great time to connect with other new parents and further strengthen your ties to our school community, before your child has even started! Please know you are welcome and encouraged to attend.

We ask all guests to register in advance so we can plan accordingly. 

Suggested arrival 8:20 am, and pickup for visiting students is 3:10 pm

On Monday, March 3rd, we will be offering a coffee social hour with current SMS families from 8:30-9:30am. This is your chance to ask questions to other parents and find out why they have chosen Saint Michael School for their students. Tours will be available afterwards and students in K-12 are invited to spend the day with us. Preschool children should plan to stay with their family for the morning. 

Tuesday, March 4th: For students who are hesitant, Tuesday is the perfect follow-up day for a shadow visit. Families are encouraged to attend the coffee hour, and tour the school with your children, and if their curiosity is piqued, we hope they will choose to come back on Tuesday and spend the day in our classrooms.  If you are unsure, feel free to call Lindsay O'Neil at 802-254-6320 or send an email to [email protected]. We adore children of all ages and never want families to feel they need to leave anyone out of the process. If you would like to bring your babies and little ones along, let us know how we can help you. We all love offering a helping hand as a toddler makes their way down a staircase or being asked to hold babies. Really! When you enroll your student, your entire family becomes a part of our SMS family.
